Starting a Real Estate Investment Company and Personal Money?
I am thinking of starting a Real Estate Investment company flipping Houses and would like to do it as a company but without putting my savings directly into the company and buying the houses with my personal savings, is this legal? I know the question probably doesn’t make sense but if someone could kind of give me some help before I go to the Small Business Center so I don’t sound like an idiot.

you have a couple of options.
1. make a partnership – share the risk with one or more persons.
2. make a LLC (limited liability corporation) – similar to a partnership, but limits your liability, hence the name. its basically a hybrid of a partnership and a corporation.
3. make a corporation – there are different types, all with certain qualifications and benefits. with a corporation, you raise capital through the sale of stock. your investors are only that, investors, and do not have any control of the company. essentially you control the corporation with other peoples money to invest.
